While your first instinct might be to accelerate in the straights and brake into the corners, the surest way to stay on the stage is to accelerate through the corners instead. Do this and your rear wheels will contribute to your steering by pulling you in the direction that your car is going. If you let off the gas entirely in the straights, you’re going to slide off of the level especially if you are accelerating hard through a straight beforehand.
You earn coins each time that you play, and then afterwards, you’ll have a video offer that earns you coins if you complete it. Watch the video and the offer will still be there, so watch it over and over again to load up on coins. Those coins can then be used to load up on quick upgrades for your car.
Fuel and damage are arguably your most important upgrades. Speed and acceleration are important, but they change the handling characteristics of your car, forcing you to be more careful with the accelerator and use the brake more in order to go a longer distance. They do help out with drifting and jumping, which make up many of the quests to earn more coins.

To unlock more cars, you have to win more cups. Unlock more levels by spending coins. You can win more cups if you have more levels. To win the easier cups, go back to your old cars and use them. The first car earns you the first cup, the second car earns the second cup, and so on and so forth.
To earn as many coins as possible, use your fastest car and go back to the easiest level and run it to go a long distance easily. The more coins that you earn in a level, the more coins each video ad will be worth after the level. Then use those coins to keep upgrading your older cars so that you can earn cups easily on the new levels.
