War Tortoise is a new endless rail-shooter game for the iOS and Android platforms. Your goal is to defend your huge tank, the War Tortoise, from endless waves of malevolent animals using your variety of weapons and soldiers, while earning coins and fighting bosses along the way. While playing this game, you can play your own music at the exact same time. All that you have to do is go to the upgrade store and hit the options button. Hit the iPod option and you can play either a song, album, or playlist that is stored on your phone, iPad or iPod (whatever you’re playing the game on).
Upgrading your own guns will get you through the earlier levels, but from level 4 on you will have huge numbers of enemies coming at you with each wave. To deal with these you’ll need to load up on the support units. Buy allies and gun towers and they’ll do the killing for you.
At a certain point it will become nearly impossible to make it to the next level. Once you do this, your best bet is to go to the next generation. This will open up all kinds of perks, such as auto-battle for the second generation. In addition, you can unlock new weapons like the howitzer, and increase your overall damage for all weapons, and cash earnings.
You’ll collect red coins as you complete missions, and each time you have two, you can purchase a new perk. Free perks come along every six hours or so. Be sure to collect them as soon as you can, even setting push notifications if you need to in order to reminds yourself to go and get them.

Even when you are not playing the game, you’ll still collect cash. Leave the game off for long enough, then log back in and you will get a free cash reward. The higher the level and wave, and the higher your generation, the bigger that the offline reward will be.
