Your main goal in Weed Firm is to grow weed and sell it. Growing weed is a process that can be sped up exponentially. All that you have to do is set the time ahead on your iPhone or your Android device, and you can finish the growing process all at once.
Once you go back and collect everything, now it’s up to you to sell it. You should sell to everyone that you can. Use the joint or the bong to get people to buy more weed off of you. Some folks, such as the mechanic or the plumber, will respond better to the joint. Others, such as Ultimator the hardcore partier and Bob the rastaman, respond far better to the bong. Still others, such as the Mary the artist and Ryan the unemployed guy, rarely respond well to either one, and considering the low prices that they pay for weed anyways, they should be kicked to the curb.

Jesus and Jhamal will take all of your money and weed if you can’t pay the fees that they impose. First, you should make sure to always have a stash of water and seeds in case this happens. Do this and you’ll be able to start rebuilding your stash again when they attack.
If you fail to do this, go for some free cash by going to the share area in the store. Hit the share button and pick one of the choices (Facebook, Google+, etc). After you pick, you immediately are credited with the money, regardless of whether you follow through with the share or not. You can do this up to 10 times in one day. Alternatively, if you want to start back over, pause and begin a new game.
The mechanic sells you a safe that you can eventually unlock. When you unlock it by gaining enough levels, immediately purchase it as soon as possible. When you do this, Jesus and Jhamal will be unable to steal any of your weed and cash as long as it’s inside the safe. When they knock, quickly stick the goods in the safe, then go to the door and tell them to piss off, and they won’t get anything.
