5) Use the time lapse cheat to speed up anything else, too.
Want to make it so that you can collect coins from your houses and shops right away? Check. Collect crops right away, as well, without having to wait? Check. Literally anything that takes time to complete can be sped up by messing with the time on your phone or tablet. Just remember that you need to set the time ahead by whatever job takes the longest. For example, if you plant honey dews, which take 24 hours to complete, set the time ahead by a full day in order to be able to harvest them right away.
4) Consolidate your town in order to fit more buildings.
Use the edit tool to place all of your buildings as close together as possible. Sell your decorations, such as trees, because they have no practical effect. Plus, they can earn you some extra gold as well. This is especially important to do when you have insufficient gold, craft items, or experience points for another expansion.
3) Stuck and don’t know what to do next? Just go complete quests.
Knock out quests on the left side of the screen and not only will you make progress, you will earn big experience point rewards (this is the best way to get more experience) and more gold. Plus, some quests, especially the multi-tiered ones, can earn you free diamonds.

2) Time sensitive quests can be retrieved early by messing with the time on your phone.
Certain quests will require you to defeat monsters that only show up during a certain time of day, or even a certain time of year. While the quests that only show up during a certain time of year are a crap shoot (depends on if the developers have preloaded it into the game yet or not), you can bring about the quests that only happen during a certain time of day (ghost of morning/day/etc for example) by messing with the time on your phone or tablet and setting it to the required time of day.
1) Use the “Free Gold” button to earn a huge windfall.
There are so many ways to earn free gold it’s not even funny. Tapjoy (the offer wall) is the largest one, but tapping the various like/follow/review buttons will do it to, as will the video ads. Logging into Facebook via the game will even earn you free diamonds.
