Adventure Xpress is a new puzzle RPG game by Adult Swim and PikPok for the iOS and Android platforms. You play as a random weird kid whose job is to deliver the mail to every city, so naturally you quest through over 275 stages making sure that every one of them receives their mail on time. You make combinations in this game like you would in Candy Crush, swapping one piece for another; you can’t drag a piece all around the board like you can in Puzzle and Dragons. However, you CAN make a move without making a combo, which can be used strategically in order to set up another, larger combination or multiple combinations at the same time.
Having trouble beating a stage? Get new equipment. No money for it? Go back to an old stage and start farming it for loot so that you can purchase new equipment, and for experience points so that you can actually unlock new equipment if you haven’t yet already unlocked something stronger than what you currently have, and to earn more crown bucks/stamps.
Pay attention to which elements do the most damage to certain types of monsters. Fire beats earth, earth beats water and water beats fire. Light and dark beat each other. An elemental monster will take only half the damage from runes of the same element, but double the damage from the advantaged rune elements as listed above.
The same thing goes for spells. Spells are essentially free attacks in the first place, meaning they should be used as often as possible, If you are at the end of a battle and it’s not the last battle, save your spells until you start the next battle, so you can get off to a fast start with extra damage dealt to the enemy.
Make a combo of four or five in a row to make special pieces appear (they also appear randomly). They will be bomb pieces, + pieces, horizontal pieces or vertical pieces, and when you see them, make every effort to break them as quickly as possible for maximum damage dealt.
