Angry Birds Go! has become one of the most popular games on the app store. In Angry Birds Go!, you get to play as any of the birds, or any of the pigs, each one having their own home course, and your goal is to beat them in races, win one-on-one matches, win fruit-collecting races (possibly inspired by Fruit Ninja), unlock new episodes and carts. The game can get tougher and tougher as time drags on, so read on for the top twelve tips and tricks for Angry Birds Go!
12) Take the inside corner on every turn
Sounds like a simple tip, but cornering effectively will make all of the difference between winning and losing a race. This is especially true when you have a power up that doesn’t speed you up (depending on the bird). Take the inside corner as often as possible.
11) Top speed is your most important cart upgrade.
All of your cart upgrades are important, but this is your most important one, because with skill, you can stop crashing, and without crashing you won’t need to accelerate too often unless you are on a bumpy course with loads of hills. Top speed, though, will effect your performance on every run, especially perfect runs.
10) Change the controls to “touch” for more accurate handling.
Steering can be extremely tricky in tilt mode, especially depending on the stage and the curves within. Change the steering to touch based and you’ll have a far easier time knowing how far to turn, and carving a precise line on the track.
9) Either enter the Jenga gift code or buy the Jenga mode to unlock Angry Birds Jenga.
This turns the game into a 3D version of normal Angry Birds. You’ll use the slingshot to knock down blocks, with the goal being to knock off all of the pigs. This is a possible preview of what future 3D Angry Birds games could look and play like.
8) Having too many devastating crashes? Increase your cart’s strength to help that.
Strength is usually the odd-man-out as far as upgrades go, but if you neglect your strength, high speed crashes will cause you to spin out massively and lose your position, finishing in last place every time. Increase strength to recover from crashes FAR more easily.
7) Can’t get your CC high enough? Upgrade all four of your cart’s categories to the maximum level in order to level up your cart and unlock further upgrades.
This is important to do because you simply won’t be fast enough to win every race otherwise, and chances are you’ll simply not even be able to enter every race in the episode unless you do this.
