BitLife: Life Simulator recently had a major update, version 1.27, that added all sorts of new features, and more features that simply make it a more complete game. The biggest new one is the ability to have more than one saved game; this makes a huge difference in the game.

You can also choose doctors based on quality, you can circumcise your male children, plan funerals, adopt a family member’s children, lose your virginity, become the victim of a theft, and more.

Read on for a full guide on version 1.27’s new features in BitLife: Life Simulator!

Multiple Save Slots

This is the most important, by far, of all the new features, because you don’t have to end a life to start a new one anymore. All that you have to do is go to the menu, start a new game, then you’ll be able to toggle between characters.

In order to save a character, they have to age one year at minimum. If your character is a newborn, then you won’t be able to save them, so age them at least one year.

Doctor Ratings and Consultations

Previously, when you were choosing a doctor, you had nothing to go off of, but now, you’re able to choose your doctor based on their quality. The better ones might be more expensive, but you will have a far better chance of recovering with a better doc.

Now you can choose to circumcise your boys when they are born. This doesn’t really do anything of note, although there is a very very tiny chance of some sort of complication. You probably won’t see it often though.

When a family member dies, now you can plan their funeral – or refuse to plan their funeral, if you didn’t like them. You can also try to get someone else to do it. Your choices can affect the relationship with the entire rest of your family.

Other options include traveling to a different city – or even a different country – for a funeral, or deciding whether to bury, cremate, or do something else. You’ll have to factor price into the equation – if you’re broke or poor, you might not be able to afford the fancy stuff.

Hit by Lightning

One random freak occurrence that happens now in BitLife is getting hit by lightning. If you get hit by lightning, your stats will be scrambled. They can be randomized, or all drained to 0, or all maxed out to 100%.

Or, of course, you can pass away from getting hit by lightning. Either one can happen, depending on your luck.

Adoption Updates

If a family member has an accident and dies, or gets addicted and can’t care for the kids anymore, you can adopt their kids, or you can choose not to and see what happens.

Also, you can see what a possible future kid might look like before you adopt them.

Other new features

You can travel to other cities or countries to visit friends and family. Your parents can disapprove of your romantic partner, either for ordinary reasons or really ridiculous ones.

You can lose your virginity to your partner. You can have a heart attack and either pass away or lose significant stats. You can also get stuff stolen from you by friends or family. If you engage in revenge against them, though, just be ready to get thrown in jail.

About Evan Heisenberg

Evan Heisenberg named himself after a Breaking Bad character one time, and then got stuck with it. He’s a San Diego guy living in Tacoma, so he legitimately enjoys the cliche “long walks on the beach.” Aside from writing about mobile games, Evan is an aircraft hydraulic maintainer and maintenance instructor. He likes weightlifting, beer, dad jokes, the Padres and Chargers, and slightly-old luxury and exotic cars.
