Blocky Soccer is a new iOS and Android soccer/endless runner hybrid. You play in games against other teams, and when it’s your turn to try and score, you have to try to get around all of the defenders and then aim a kick into the opposing goal to score a point. Your goal is to try to score victories, make it into the playoffs and then the finals and win the big trophy. Read on for some tips and tricks for Blocky Soccer!
When it’s your turn, you have two ways to get past defenders. Swipe from side to side in order to change lanes, and try to outpace defenders and their lane changes. Tap on the screen to scoot forward and run past defenders before they get a chance to change into your lane. When you run past them, you’ll beat them.
You only have to worry about one defender at once though. The one closest to you is the one that can stop you. The others are harmless until they get closest to you. Swipe and tap to beat one defender, then do the same to the next defender, and so on and so forth.
Once you get to the goal, you have to aim the kick first, and then select how much power to give it. Aim the kick past the defender and goalie (or over their heads, especially the defender’s head). Don’t give a kick too much power or you’ll knock it over the goal, but if you don’t give it enough power, the goalie will dive and stop it.
When you are defending, it’s a game of chance as to whether the opponent scores a goal or not. If they do, you can load a video and watch it in order to reroll for the chance to stop the goal. Do this as often as possible as long as you have an internet connection. If you don’t, then the video won’t load and you will have to accept the goal.
You can earn keys by kicking a goal that hits a key sitting inside of the goal, and from the rewards that you get for free. Once you get three keys, you can open three lockers, and if you get three matching uniforms, you earn a new character. If you don’t get a match, you can watch an ad video in order to open another locker for free.
