As you travel along the road, you’ll pick up diamonds, but there are faster ways to earn diamonds unless you go a really long distance every time that you play a round. After random rounds, a video icon will pop up, and if you watch the video inside, you will earn 20 diamonds. Also, timed free gifts appear semi-frequently, too, and each one of those is also worth 20 diamonds.
So the quickest way to rack up a ton of cubes? Play over and over, die after earning one point, then start over again. This will make the video icons pop up rapid-fire, one every three to five turns, and you watching them every time will lead to a large quantity of diamonds, and the ability to purchase all kinds of new characters. Not all of the new characters come from spending diamonds, though. One of them can be earned by liking Bridge! on Facebook through the game itself, while others can be earned by breaking specific scoring milestones.
Some bridges will need to be turned before your cube hits them, while others will need to be turned while your square is on them. The latter ones can be turned no matter where on the bridge your cube is, so even if you are at the very beginning or the very end of the bridge, you can make the move and keep the round going.
Hit the bar graph button to check what the top global scores are on either Game Center of Google Play depending on what platform you play the game on. The highest score that it is possible to get is currently 1,000 points, although that might change and the game gets updated.
Currently there is no way to purchase an ads-free mode, as there usually is with games of this type. Playing the game without an internet connection will get rid of all of the ads, or you can set your phone to airplane mode in order to automatically get rid of all of the data.
