Guide to Car Town for Facebook part 3: Gaining levels and experience, tips, tricks, cheats, hints and strategies

Car Town is a now-classic Facebook game where you collect cars, race them, and enter them in car shows, as well as work on cars! But enough about that, if you’re reading this, you already know what Car Town is about. Let’s get to the new tips and tricks.

Once you get to higher levels in Car Town, it becomes far more beneficial to schedule long jobs instead of short jobs, plus it helps to break the tedium of scheduling short jobs and collecting over and over.

As you began the game, it was easy to gain levels by washing a car. Not everyone can check the game twelve hours a day, though, so if you only check the game every 4-8 hours or so, it becomes more beneficial to use other jobs. To use an example, the wing install earns you 120 experience points per job and a whole lot of coins, and it takes 12 hours to complete.

Hydraulics take 24 hours to complete and earn you 162 points per shot, making it very easy to gain levels.

As you gain levels, though, you unlock better jobs. When you unlock the body kit installation, you can set that job and earn 537 experience points per completion (it takes 72 hours to complete). The monster truck job takes eight hours to complete, and will earn you 118 experience points per job completed, so if you check every 8 hours on the dot and want to maximize your experience points, use this one.

Try to make a lot of friends, because if you don’t have enough friends to race and win, your free car test drives will not be enough to allow you to keep a free car. Make more friends in Car Town and race them and win, and you’ll be able to keep the free car every time, including some extra nice ones too, such as a Cadillac Escalade.

Our YouTube channel Game Hydro’s 1,000 subscriber contest is almost over! Enter while you still can! Click to watch, subscribe, and win!

To win almost every race you can, remember this strategy: Click when the arrow is at EXACTLY the redline number. If you do this, you will earn a bonus, and earn double the amount of points. If you practice and you become perfectly accurate at this, you will beat almost anyone you race, and your weaker car will be able to beat someone else’s much stronger car.

If you do a job that takes an hour or more to do, make sure to remember when the job will be complete, and then collect the money within six minutes after completing the job. Doing this will earn you a free 10 percent coin bonus just for collecting on the job in time.

About Evan Heisenberg

Evan Heisenberg named himself after a Breaking Bad character one time, and then got stuck with it. He’s a San Diego guy living in Tacoma, so he legitimately enjoys the cliche “long walks on the beach.” Aside from writing about mobile games, Evan is an aircraft hydraulic maintainer and maintenance instructor. He likes weightlifting, beer, dad jokes, the Padres and Chargers, and slightly-old luxury and exotic cars.
