Car Town EX is a brand new expansion to the classic Car Town, the top Facebook game for car enthusiasts. In Car Town EX you can do all of the same things that you did in the original game, except you can start a whole new account (without having to register a duplicate Facebook name) and you can get exclusive cars which have been added as a way to cater to the Asian markets. You’ll have cars pull up to your shop requesting specific jobs, but you don’t have to cater to those cars right away, or even at all. Simply tap one of your empty bays and a list of all of the available jobs that you can do will pop up, and you can pick from any of the jobs that you want. Pick the short term jobs if you are playing for awhile to get coins and experience quickly, but pick the long term jobs when you aren’t planning on playing for awhile.
To easily get a car that you can beat most people in the races with, simply take the car that you start with, and go to the customize screen. Then, go to the performance tab and buy all of the upgrades for it using the coins that you began the game with (avoid the ones which cost blue points or facebook credits). Your car’s rating will be VERY high (if you have a Pinto, for instance, it will be 491).
Also, when it comes time to buy cars, buy the ones that have a higher performance rating to begin with if it’s about trying to win races. However, if it’s about trying to win car shows, pick the car which looks the most distinctive, regardless of performance.
To win the car shows easily in Car Town EX, make your car stand out. Paint it insane colors (especially paint it using custom designs) and do other crazy things to it, such as a huge lift, giant rims, lowering it to the ground, body kits, neon lights, and all of that other fun stuff. People are more likely to vote for the car that stands out.
