The bus is tough to wield around due to its size, but with your skills, you can pilot it for long distances in all kinds of weather, unlocking new buses using coins as you go. The ads tend to be very annoying, as they pop up constantly, and right now, there is no ad-free mode to purchase in this game. If you want to get rid of the ads, then instead switch your phone or tablet into airplane mode. Once you do this, then go back to the game and you’ll be able to play it for as long as you want with no ads to impede your progress.
Your coins are based on various actions that you complete within the game. Make a near miss with another vehicle, for example, and you will earn ten coins in your run. Drive fast in order to maximize your chances to score points, but don’t drive fast all the time or you won’t score a ton of coins. Give cars on the right a wider berth since your drivers seat is on the left.
Sometimes the collision detection in this game will be completely off and you won’t be able to actually pick up any coins. When this happens, tap the map inside of your bus’s cockpit to switch to the map mode. This will put the game in an overhead, 16-bit style view, but you will be able to steer and drive the bus the same way, and when you pick up coins, you will actually pick up the coins.
Tap around the inside of the bus to see what other features pop up. You can tap on the air conditioning unit to turn it on, for example. Tap on the hazards to turn them on as well, or you can honk the horn too. When you get new buses, they’ll come equipped with differently-shaped cockpits, so tap around to see what kind of new features you can find.
New buses, new tracks, and new weather conditions can be unlocked by spending coins. To earn as many coins as possible, switch straight to the overhead map mode when you start playing. Drive slowly so that nobody will put you at risk. Run over every coin that you see to collect it. It’s tedious, but it’s the fastest way to earn more coins.
