By | 20111024

Coco Girl is one of the most popular new Facebook games lately, for the reason that it’s completely different than most Facebook games, including its closest competition, It Girl. In Coco Girl, you don’t gain levels and experience points, or play against the computer. Your goal is to earn rubies and hearts via various tasks, mini games, and by selling clothing as well. If you’re new to Coco Girl and it’s turned out to be a bit complicated, or you haven’t played Coco Girl and you want to learn what it’s all about before you play, read on!

Rubies and hearts are your two main resources in Coco Girl. Rubies are the money in the game, and can be used to buy clothing at the Coco Shops, the Coco Market and the blimp. Hearts of various colors are harder to earn, but will allow you to buy more rare clothing.

Both rubies and hearts can be earned by following checklists in the game. The ruby maker checklist gives you tasks to do that earn you a lot of rubies, and each heart has different tasks that must be done in order to gain them, such as rating a certain number of looks.

Creating daily looks is key to earning many ofthe various hearts in the game. You can go through your diary to see past looks. Your calendar shows you many looks you’ve completed each day.

Your closet is where your clothes are kept when you aren’t wearing them. If you want to buy or sell clothes to/from other players, the Coco Market is where you go to do that. The notebook lets you keep track of how many items of clothing you sell, and how many looks you have rated (rating looks is another way to earn rubies in this game). Your closet can also be decorated by purchasing tiems. Click the “edit room” button to add items to your closet.

The Coco Market has a 10% fee on any clothing you sell, so make sure to sell at a high enough price to make a profit despite this fee. When you put clothing on sale, it stays on sale for 7 days or until another player buys it, whichever comes first. Rare items can sell in the millions here.

The Coco Shops is the big mall in the game, containing a huge amount of stores. Each store has a unique designer collection to sell, and the items that they sell are swapped out every so often. Some of the clothes can be bought for rubies, while other clothes cost both rubies and hearts (these being the more expensive clothes).

The Coco Carnival contains all kinds of mini games that you can play in order to earn tickets. You can trade tickets in for rubies – the more tickets you trade in, the higher amount of rubies you earn per ticket.
The Coco Couture Shop is a blimp that flies overhead and sells very rare items of clothingthat cost a LOT of rubies to buy. These items are switched out far more often than the clothes at the Coco Shops, and can be sold forhigher prices in the Coco Market.
Coco Cargo is a catalog where the most exclusive items of clothing can be purchased. After you buy clothing at the Coco Cargo, you have to wait for it to be delivered, and if you don’t take delivery on it, you won’t get it.
The Coco Salon is where you can change your avatar’s appearance, including hair, face, skinand whatnot.

There are red, yellow, green, blue, purple, pink and white hearts. To earn red hearts, create three daily looks. For yellow hearts, you need to put five outfits together. For green, make a daily look every day for a week straight. For a blue heart, pass five of the looks challenges. For purple hearts, go to the Fashion Expert section, where you rate looks, and get 100% look accuracy for a weekstraight. For pink hearts, create a daily look for a month straight. For a white heart, you need to pick up ten items from the laundromat. These hearts will allow you to buy really rare items.

Now you are ready to play Coco Girl! Happy shopping!

About Evan Heisenberg

Evan Heisenberg named himself after a Breaking Bad character one time, and then got stuck with it. He’s a San Diego guy living in Tacoma, so he legitimately enjoys the cliche “long walks on the beach.” Aside from writing about mobile games, Evan is an aircraft hydraulic maintainer and maintenance instructor. He likes weightlifting, beer, dad jokes, the Padres and Chargers, and slightly-old luxury and exotic cars.
