Crossy Road has a brand new update with a bunch of brand-new characters, that is in no way, shape, or form, related to the release of Pac Man 256 (and the lie detector test determined that was a lie!). Plus, they’ve fixed that insidious glitch that stopped people from getting the new characters in the gacha. But more importantly, we have all of the info on how to get the new hidden secret characters – the ghosts! Read on to find out how.
First of all, to get Pac-Man, you need to play one round first, then after you die, go to the character select screen and scroll all the way to the right. You have to “purchase” Pac-Man, but he’s completely free, so even though you’ll enter your IAP password for the App Store or Google Play (or whatever platform you play this on), you won’t pay anything. You’ll just have Pac-Man in a new game mode.
Now, to get Inky (the blue ghost), play as Pac-Man and start looking for the big dots (the power pellets). You have to eat fifty of them. You can eat the total in as many games as you want, so you can do one per round if you want to for fifty rounds, or do all fifty in one round, but you have to just eat 50.
To get Pinky, the pink ghost (duh), while playing as Pac-Chicken or one of the Pac-Man ghosts (no need to waste all of your coins in the Gacha), you’ll sometimes (but rarely) see the cherry from the Pac-Man games appear. If you see it appear, then grab it. After you die, you will unlock Pinky. Much easier to unlock than Inky is.
To get Blinky (the red ghost), look for Pac-Man to “drive by” on the street when you are using the Pac-Chicken (or when you are using one of the Pac-Man ghosts). He’ll take the place of the police cars. Once you see him, jump in front of him and let yourself get run over. After you do that, you will have unlocked Blinky.
Finally to get the orange ghost, Clyde, you have to play as Pac-Man. Hunt down a power pellet, and then eat seven ghosts with it before it runs out. This has to be done with one single power pellet. This has to be done with one; it can’t be done with multiple pellets.
