Crush the Castle: Siege Master is a new game where you lay siege to rival castles, use a trebuchet to launch large stones at them, and try to knock them down. It’s like Angry Birds but with trebuchets, with each level becoming more and more challenging than the last. You can chase that elusive three-star score, get coins, and use boosts to help you along the way. Read on for some tips and tricks for Crush the Castle: Siege Master!

Just as with Angry Birds, use the laws of physics here and create an imbalance in order to cause mass destruction. Knock a piece of the side of a castle off, for example, to get the whole thing to fall over. If you see a TNT box inside, which is a red box with explosives inside, then try to hit it to blow up the entire castle area.

Pay attention to what materials the castle is constructed of. Any surface that’s made of stone will be tough to destroy with direct hits. Any surface that’s made of wood will be easy to destroy with a direct hit. Knock out a wooden plank in the support of a stone castle and you’ll bowl the whole thing over and score an easy win. If there is no wood, then there will be some other way to either knock out the residents or bowl over the castle.

If the wood is at the top or the opening that you have to shoot through is on top of the castle, you’ll have a parachute bomb available. If you don’t have that, then pick a big rock and let go of it when it’s just past vertical to lob a big stone into the castle from a high angle. These are harder to aim than mostly horizontal shots, so they require some practice beforehand.

You can get a boost box that can be used before any level in order to start off with a specific boost, such as a big bomb, or a giant rock. These still have to be aimed properly, so they won’t just do all of the work for you, but if you do aim, they’ll blow straight through anything that they touch.

It’s easy to accidentally hit the screen and begin the launch before you intend to. If you do this, then simply let the trebuchet swing the stone around. It will swing at the same speed, the same trajectory, and will come back around to the angles that you want to launch it at. Don’t waste a turn just because you accidentally tapped the screen once.
