During any of your battles, make sure to check the wheel of elements, which is done by tapping on the teal button in the top center of the screen. It shows you which elements have an advantage against which other elements (follow the arrows) and which elements are at a disadvantage (follow the arrows in reverse). Elements that aren’t right next to each other are neutral against each other.

Levels start off easy and quickly turn hard, so whenever you have trouble beating a stage, go to an older stage and grind it, beating it over and over for experience points until you level up your monsters. Go to hard mode of any stage that you have completed at any time to fight harder/higher leveled versions of the same enemy, which, of course, leads to more rewards.

Don’t bother spending gems to replicate a curio after a battle if they are a common curio. It’s far more effective to save up your gems and instead take them to the store and use them to purchase premium discs. Then take your brand new curio to older nodes, and to get it leveled up quickly, direct all of your team’s experience for that battle towards your new curio.

Choose your skill set wisely. Make sure to look at the secondary effects of a move, not just how much damage it does (although that’s important). If you want to get more skill points, the way to do so is to progress across the map. If you are stuck and need to do more damage to get by, you’re better off grinding for experience in old levels.
