The controls in this game are much like they were in various Flappy Bird-era games, such as Ironpants and Swing Copters. You tap to change direction, and avoid obstacles so that you don’t crash out and lose. However, if you do hit cars, you earn points, and there are things that you do want to hit, such as coins and power-ups.
The quickest way to earn a high score is to hit cars, but hitting cars will also damage your car. So hit a few cars, then pick up a health box. Once you pick up a health box, your car’s health is completely restored. Once it is, then start smashing into cars again. And trucks, and buses, etc. The bigger the vehicle that you crash into, the more points you earn for running into it. The only vehicles you can’t run into are parked cop cars at road blocks.
Be sure to pick up power-ups when you see them on the road. One of the most important ones is the speed-up. This will make you go extremely fast, and when you hit another car, you health won’t drop at all. You just won’t be able to hit a wall, though, because it won’t protect you from that. A red lego will blow up a cop car if it’s behind you. There’s the speed ups and money, of course.
There’s a very small difference in gameplay if you change cars, but it can be significant. The main differnece in performance when you change cars is the size of the cars. So if you pick a smaller car, then it becomes easier to avoid other cars. If you pick a larger car, then it becomes tougher to avoid hitting other cars. But a larger car can also more easily get power-ups and cash.
If you want to get a ton of cash quickly, all you have to do is go to the car select screen and hit the video button. A 30-second commercial will play, and once it finishes, you get 100 free cash. So you can get the cheapest car in the game with just two of these videos. The most expensive vehicle costs 22150, though, so you will need to watch 222 videos just to buy this car.
