Since speed is, as previously mentioned, the name of the game, avoid swiping the huge combos which you have to make a lot of turns for. Instead, stick entirely to the straight-line combos that you can quickly swipe with one finger, even if it means you swipe less dots at a time. You may swipe less dots at a time, but you can swipe far more combos, therefore more dots, in a shorter amount of time by doing this.

If you really want to be quick, use two fingers to swipe instead of one finger. Use one finger from each hand, alternating back and forth between which one is swiping a combo, keeping a finger or thumb on your right hand to the right side of the board, and a finger or thumb on your left hand to the left side of the board.

Trophies can be earned for completing various feats in the game, but for the most part, all of them are earned by simply playing a certain amount of rounds on Dots. So to earn more trophies, play as many rounds as possible, and you’ll earn them at various milestones – round 1, 2, 5, 10, 20 etc.

If you want to be in the range of top scores (the worldwide top scorers) whose scores are in the 500s, 600s and 700s, you’re going to need to load up on massive amounts of every single power up, and then use them as much as possible.

In addition, if you want to slow time down as much as possible without having to use a power up, try running a ton of apps on your phone at the same time in the background when you’re playing. They can cause lag, which can cause the timer to fall behind, giving you more time to swipe combos.
