#DRIVE: Walkthrough, Cheats, Tips, and Strategy Guide

#DRIVE is a new iOS and Android endless driving game with drifting mechanics, tons of cars, and a number of levels, each with their own unique challenges. Your goal is to race as far as you can, complete all of the given quests, and make a lot of money, as well as earn postcards for new locations.

You can visit multiple towns and cities within each location, slide around and collect donuts, bottlecaps, postcards, and other goodies.

Read on for some tips and tricks for #DRIVE!

Your main control method is left on the screen for steering left, right for steering right, and hit both sides of the screen to hit the brakes. You won’t need to break very often, but when you do, be sure that you don’t accidentally dart off to the side.

If you’re having issues with turning too hard when you hold down on the screen, then just tap one side of the screen over and over until you get where you need to go. Or change the sensitive of the controls in the game menu, even though you’ll have to get the feel of it all over again.

Your main goal on each level is to get as far as you can and collect all of the bottlecaps that you can. Make sure to get the red cap at the end of each string of five bottlecaps, as the red cap is worth far more than the yellow ones are. The yellow ones are worth one while the reds are worth 10 apiece.

Make sure to slide into the gas stations whenever you can and/or whenever you need to. The farther you go the more gas you’ll use, so you’ll need to pull in for a refill often.

Also, go through stations and you have a chance at earning donuts and other goodies. The question-mark orbs are completely random, and will give you a donut, a postcard, or gas.

A donut will allow you to shake a cop off of your tail once they start following you. Otherwise, they’ll bump you from behind and throw off your handling attempts. If you have no donut, you can also brake-check them to make them go away for a few seconds.

If you collect a wrench from a gas station instead, you’ll fix all of the damage to your car. Avoid hitting and bumping things and people (and cars), and you’ll also avoid taking damage. Every time you bump something, you take damage.

Get new cars and upgrade your current cars

Collect bottle caps and you can spend them on two things: new cars and car upgrades. First, tap the up arrow next to your car’s stats to increase them. Your stats are speed, grip, acceleration, and coolness.

Speed, of course, lets you go faster. Grip improves your handling through turns and makes your car easier to control. Acceleration makes you go from a stop faster. Coolness allows you to have better luck and earn more caps.

Scroll over sideways on the car menu to see the next car in line. Each car has its own stats and its own advantages and disadvantages, and while you can’t exactly try before you buy, you can look at the stats before you purchase.

Of course, each stat can be upgraded once you buy the car, too. You can get up to five stat upgrades per stat per car. The stats that will show in the store are the initial stats, before you start purchasing upgrades.

Unlocking New Levels

Want to find new levels in this game? All you have to do is earn postcards. How do you earn postcards? Go to cities, and break through question mark orbs.

Postcards are earned by going a long distance. The longer you go, the more postcards you earn. Once you have enough postcards, go and purchase the next city in line. Then do so until you have all of the cities.
