Dumb Ways To Draw is a new game in the Dumb Ways To Die franchise by Melbourne Metro Trains Pty of Australia. If you’re from Oz, you might know them better as the company that makes the trains run on time in Melbourne, but to the rest of the app-playing world, they’re the purveyors of one of the surprise hit franchises of all time.

Your goal here is to draw a path to keep your characters (who tend to be very dumb) from dying in dumb, gruesome, strange ways. You can also earn coins, pick pencils, and unlock all sorts of new levels.

Right from the beginning, you have the initial region unlocked, which means that you don’t have to play the levels in order. You can start at level 1 and work your way up if you want to, but you can also start at any level between 1 and 6.

To unlock a new set of levels, you need to earn enough stars. Scroll forward from the main map screen and once you unlock a specific level set, scroll over and it will unlock automatically.

From there it will automatically be unlocked. You can start at the farther levels in order to take care of the most advanced level first.

The farther you get into the game, the less of a difficulty difference there will be between levels, and the pattern will revert to one hard level, followed by a few easy ones. So if you end up stuck, skip levels and earn three stars on the rest of them.

Tap on the video offer in the lower left corner of the screen. You will earn coins when you beat a level anyways, but if you tap this and take the video offer, you will be able to earn double the coins per level for quite awhile.

If you are in the market for an in-app purchase, look for an offer at the lower right-hand corner of the screen and tap it. Once you do, you will be able to unlock all sorts of goodies, including blocking all involuntary ads, as well as extra coins, extra hints, and other bonus items.
