Emoji Jump: Tips, Tricks, Cheats and Strategy Guide

Emoji Jump is a new game for the iOS platform that lets you play as just about every single emoji that you can think of. Your goal, of course, is to jump as high as you can without dying, and there are plenty of little devil emoji that will get in your way and mess your game up. Read on for some tips and tricks for Emoji Jump for iPhone and iPad!

There are two main ways to get points in this game. The most obvious of the two is, of course, two jump past the barriers, which are made of a whole bunch of emoji clustered together. You’ll see cookies around the stage, though, and these are something that you want to collect (predictably, as cookies are fun, right?). Each cookie that you collect gives you one extra point.

Of course, you want to avoid the devil emoji. Hitting one of these will kill you and end your run right away. Two other things that will kill you immediately are the barriers and simply falling off of the stage. Keep your focus, jump in a deliberate manner and try to avoid hitting the obstacles. Your emoji jumps the same height every single time so it’s fairly easy to time how high you will jump.

If you want to get rid of the ads for free, then all that you have to do is turn off the data and/or play the game in Airplane Mode. I don’t suggest you do this though as this game was made by a single indie developer, and the ads are how they pay the bills. Plus, the ads are not all that intrusive. You can kill the ads permanently for $1.49 spent via the App Store.

This game can get a little bit frustrating. If you start to get too frustrated, you will end up finding your scores dropping. If this is the case with you then your best bet would be to take a break for half an hour to an hour or so, and then come back later. Once you play later with a bit more relaxation, your scores will skyrocket.

You can bounce all the way to the side of the screen if you want to, because if you hit the side of the screen, you will simply change direction. Use the far corners of the screen if you need to get past a devil or a barrier that is way far off to the side, but be careful that you don’t hit the next devil or barrier above it when your emoji changes direction.
