FallDown! 2 is one of the simplest, quickest games on the iPhone and Android, yet it is also one of the most addicting games in recent memory. Seriously, it takes only 30-60 seconds to play around, unless you’re good (then it takes maybe 5 minutes), yet you can look down, and before you know it, you have just spent two to three hours playing (or your phone battery is dead from overuse, one of the two). Stars are the single currency in the game, and with them you can buy new backgrounds and new balls. Read on to find out how to get more of them!
There is, surprisingly, not one single way to buy stars in this game. You can only earn stars when you are playing the game, so the tips will be focused on what you can do while you are playing to earn more stars.
The first thing is, try to get as far as you can in the stage. Ignore the stars and concentrate on distance until you can consistently play for 90-120 seconds at a time. Then, once you have that down, start focusing on landing on the platforms with all of the stars on them.
To add to this, collect all of the question mark boxes that you can find. Many of the question marks will double the amount of stars that are in the immediate area, allowing you to collect more of them. Even the ones that don’t double the amount of stars often do things which will indirectly help – for example, freezing the green bar, which gives you more time to collect stars. Or increasing your speed, which is self explanatory.
To get significantly more points, stay on the stage as long as possible (of course), since you get two points per second that you stay on the stage. But to increase your points much more quickly, fall as quickly as possible, trying to fall past at least 3 platforms without hitting or touching them. You’ll get a major point bonus for doing this, anywhere between 13 points and somewhere in the thirties.
