Farm Away! is a new farming game for the iOS platform, except it’s much different than other farming games. It’s actually more of a tap-based business management game, a la AdVenture Capitalist, but with a farming skin. You tap to collect crops and earn money for them, then use that money to upgrade your crops and buy new crops, and you get a huge amount of upgrades to get you earning money even faster until you become insanely, massively rich. You can upgrade each crop in order to improve the amount of money that it earns, and with various money milestones, you can unlock new crops. However, the most important upgrades to buy are those that automate the farming process. Buy those and you’ll keep earning money without clicking. You’ll even earn money while you are offline, and then you can go back and collect it later.

As you keep earning more money, you will eventually be able to take the crops to market and trade them for seeds. Each seed improves the earnings from all of your crops by 2%, so if you keep taking your crops to market as you are able to, they’ll add up big time. You can either wait 24 hours to unlock the ability to take them to market, or watch a commercial to be able to do so immediately.
Tap the cloud on the right side of the screen and you can double your money earnings for four hours. Tap the sun and you can double your money earnings for 20 seconds. Layer these on top of each other and for those 20 seconds of sunshine you’ll earn 4x the money overall. Best part is, you can tap whenever you want, as long as you have an internet connection, in order to enable the sun or the rain.
You can set the time ahead on your phone or tablet in order to skip time in the game itself. Or, you can pay gems and skip time automatically without having to mess with the time on your phone. Gems, like all else in the game, can be earned for free by watching an ad video, or you can pay real money for far more gems.
Connect the game to Facebook and if you have any other friends who play the game, you can increase each other’s profits. If you don’t, then connect to your games-only account or add other people who play the game.
