Farm Heroes Saga is a new match three game by King for Facebook, and soon to be the iOS and Android platforms. King, as you may recall, is the driving force behind Candy Crush Saga, and much of the gameplay is similar in Farm Heroes Saga, but with noticeable difference, especially when it comes to what the goals in the game are. The goal is to collect a certain number of cropsies (which are either crops, suns or water drops) by matching three or more to make them disappear, as well as to get up to 3 stars and the highest score possible. Read on for some tips and tricks for Farm Heroes Saga!
Every time that you do a combo, you’ll see “+1” or some other number like 2-5 on the surrounding set of pieces. This means that not only will more points be added to the percentage meter if you knock off these bonus-enabled pieces, but “collecting” them, if they are in this level’s set of pieces that you have to get, means that you will collect them faster. A piece with “+1” will be worth two pieces, a piece with “+2” will be worth three pieces, and so on. Thsi can throw you into hero mode FAR sooner.
If you see a 4 piece, 5 piece, or a dual combination that can be made, but the pieces aren’t a part of your collection requirements, knock out the big combos anyways. Not only will more +numbers be added to the nearby pieces for a big combo (thereby setting up easy wins using less moves), but the new pieces crashing down will often cause themselves to combo out before you can even touch them, as well as cause other pieces on your board to match automatically.
To beat the levels with the flowers, you need to collect the flowers, which involves matching other pieces next to them several times in order to grow them. Once you match them and grow them fully, they will leave the board.
Save your gold bars and your magic beans so that you can buy boosters when you hit a really tough stage, such as a rancid stage later in the game. When you hit a tough stage, use the free boosters that you get once per day, and buy more boosters as needed, especially the shovel since it can be purchased with magic beans.
You most likely have friends who play the game, so don’t be too shy to ask them for free lives, gold or magic beans once a day, or as often as the game allows you to. If you do not, then you can find more by posting your add me request here or by going to the official Farm Heroes Saga Facebook page and adding commenters.
