FIFA 15 Ultimate Team (iOS/Android) – How to get more gold, rare, Team of the Week and special cards, Page 2

A good way to get cheap gold and rare cards on the transfer market is to go for players who come out of obscure leagues. You’re going to get a ton of weird leagues, but if you start buying out of the popular leagues such as the English Premier League, you will typically overpay for players. Instead, stick to the smaller leagues and to the leagues which are undervalued (IE Bundesliga).

Go for players who play for third world leagues and countries, especially, as they tend to be the ones who are the most undervalued. English speaking countries and first-world countries, in general, have a high proportion of players who have this game, who play all the time, and who will spend some serious cash on this game.

One thing that has yet to appear in this version of the game so far is Legends cards, but look for them to appear sooner rather than later unless the developers break their usual pattern. Legends cards are players from the past who were (and probably still would be) hall-of-fame caliber.

Team fo the Week players are picked based on how well they performed in real life, and a player’s performance in real life can give them “in form” status. If you see a hot player in real life, immediately start looking for them in the transfer market before they become an “in form” card. Then purchase them and wait for the fun to possibly begin with the new week.

Look for future events to pop up, as well as featured card packs in the market and tournaments, which will provide rewards of special cards, because that’s typically how it works. Right now as stated above there’s only one quest which gives you a special card. But like with the gold and rare cards, look for special cards on the transfer market too.
