Battle consists of aiming each of your characters, other than the king, trying to predict where the opposition will aim their characters, and attempting to do the most damage that you can. Generally, your best bet is to knock off one character at a time as much as possible, by aiming all of your attackers at one enemy attacker. Check the stats of your party when building a team. Some have higher health and lower attack power, while some have lower health and higher attack power, and still others have special abilities, such as the astronaut’s flight ability, or the snowman’s freeze ability. A good blend of characters is recommended, so that you can attack from diverse methods.
Avoid the pitfalls in the middle of various levels, which subject you to instant death if you happen to fall into them. They’re also difficult to try to knock an enemy into; enemies will often anticipate you trying to knock them in, move out of the way, and send you flying in. An exception is the enemy king; they can’t move, so if you have them in a position to fall in, and then smash into them, you can easily knock them in if you aim the right way.
Any time that you see an exclamation mark next to the shop icon, go there. That mark only appears when you have a free prize that you can claim. Many of the free prizes involve watching an ad video for either gems or for a chest. Some of them are free, with no ad videos, but they appear once every few hours, so you are limited in the amount of times that you can claim them.
Try out different characters and find ones that you are the most comfortable with, but in general, the most upgraded characters are often the ones that will provide your party the most benefit. Set push notifications so that you can get as many chests as you can as soon as they become available, and battle as often as possible so that you can earn more and more chests.
