Flip Diving – Tips, Tricks, Cheats, How to Beat, and Strategy Guide

Flip Diving is Miniclip’s latest smash hit game for the iOS and Android, becoming in fact the first game to knock Pokémon GO off of the top spot in the App Store. Your goal is to dive off of cliffs, trees and other objects, doing flips and tricks and scoring the best entry possible, while collecting coins and tickets and unlocking new divers, locations and tricks. Read on for some tips and tricks for Flip Diving!

Your character will lean forward and back while you hold on the screen until you let go, at which point he or she will jump. Time the lean just right in order to make a jump into the landing zone. The zone gets smaller and smaller as you go from round to round, which will make it that much more important to aim correctly when you jump.

Once you do jump, you will get points and coins for the quality of the entry and the amount of flips that you do. Entry is judged by how vertical you are and how little of a splash you make, and is judged the same way whether you go feet first or head first. The more flips and the better your entries, the more coins you’ll earn per jump.

The bomb is a trick unlike the other tricks. Most of the other tricks involve flips, but with the bomb, all that you have to do is hold down on the screen and you will score a 3 every time for entry. If you jump with a forward lean, your character will rotate slowly forward, making it very easy to time a good entry and score a 10.

You’ll get prompted constantly to watch videos for coins, or to watch videos to activate the magnet which draws the floating coins in each stage to you. If all you want to do is watch videos, hit the spin menu and there will be a button in the lower-right corner of the screen to watch a video for coins. The coin earnings will drop slightly per video as you watch more and more of them, so to get your 15-coin videos back, close and then re-open the game and go back to the spin menu.

Right now there is no known way to get free tickets in this game; however, tickets and coins purchase exactly the same things (more spins) and coins cannot be purchased as an in-app purchase. So there is no real need for tickets unless you want to speed along the unlocking of new tricks, locales and divers.
