Flip Runner: Walkthrough, Tips, Cheats, and Strategy Guide

Flip Runner is a new rag doll parkour game for the iOS and Android platforms. Your goal is to finish the level by landing on the targets and doing all kinds of parkour tricks such as flips, backflips, and three-point landings, among others, in order to pass a multitude of levels.

You can unlock a whole bunch of new characters, upgrade the statistics of your current characters in order to do better tricks, earn coins and gold, and a whole lot more as you make your way through every level in the game.

In each level, you’ll have a specific set of tricks that you can do. Your first goal is to aim properly so that you can land cleanly on the next platform. Don’t jump too close, or too far, or you’ll miss the platform entirely, no matter how well you land your jump.

Landing your jump requires a different type of timing depending on the trick that you do. Watch the tutorial, if applicable, and if not, test different types of timing and watch your character’s spin before you land. Stop the spin before the landing position so that you slow down, but since you’ll keep moving, you’ll be able to aim yourself to stick the landing.

You’ll unlock a bunch of tricks as you go, but even with all of the tricks, each level has its own specific set of tricks. So if you did one trick on an old level, you’ll do the same trick on the level if you go back to it. All you can do is try to time it better if you’re trying to get a better score.

Your runners will have jump power, flip power, confidence, and balance. Jump power enables them to jump higher. Flip power enables them to spin faster during flips. Confidence and balance enable them to land more effectively. With each upgrade, each level will become easier to beat.

Coins and gold are your two currencies in this game. Coins are the primary currency, and their main use is to enable you to upgrade the characters that you already have. Gold is your premium currency, and it will primarily allow you to purchase new characters.

Hit the gold spin in order to spin for more coins, more gold, and other rewards. The first spin will be free, while the following spins will cost 25 gold apiece. Gold can either be earned from the levels themselves, or if you watch an ad video, you’ll earn 10 coins apiece. You can watch as many ads as you want from the spin screen, just as long as you have an internet connection.

Watch as many ads as you can so that you can do as many spins as you can. The more you spin, the better your chances of winning gold. If you do win gold, tap on the doubler button and you’ll be able to watch an ad video to double your gold reward.
