FR Legends is a new iOS and Android game where you drift cartoonish versions of real cars against opponents in order to get the highest score and the most points and cash. At first, especially if you’re not familiar with how drifting competitions are scored, it can seem impossible to get a 90+ in one single run. The key here is smoothness. Test your car and figure out how to hit all of your clipping points without sawing at the wheel, letting off the gas, or losing a ton of speed. Your movements should be as smooth as absolutely possible, and your directional changes should be smooth as well.
Most of the customizations that are available for your car are cosmetic, but the ones that aren’t are the engine upgrades. You have a huge range to choose from here, from the engine itself to the ECU to the transmission. More power means that you can drift more smoothly at a steeper angle. Improving the engine increases the maximum potential horsepower, while the ECU provides the biggest bang for the buck as far as adding horsepower goes.

It takes money to fix your car when you damage it, but there are two ways to avoid this. Number one, before you start off on a new drifting track, go to the practice levels and drift freely without worry of damage to your car. Number two is when you go to the competitive drifting levels, avoid smashing into the wall, as that will damage your car. You’ll still get your car dirty if you don’t smash a wall, but you won’t have body damage, so the fix will be far cheaper.
Have multiple sets of tires so that you can practice. Get some used tires for free so that you can practice on the practice levels, as your tires will still wear out here. When you go to the competitive levels, switch to the stock tires or to even better tires, such as the street tires, in order to get the maximum grip and reliability.
Changing the camber and the track width on your car might be an obscure option, but since they are free, experiment with various track and camber configurations to see which one you like better. They all drive a little bit differently; you might like the stock configuration (no camber, normal track) better, or a wider track, or higher camber.
