Golden Boot 2019: Walkthrough, Cheats, Tips, and Strategy Guide

Golden Boot 2019 is the game of football/soccer free kicks. This is an extension of the old Facebook Messenger game franchise that is now available on iOS and Android, with much of the same gameplay as before, but with new mechanics such as upgrading your team and earning coins and gems.

You can compete against other players, build the strongest team possible, play against friends, in practice mode, or in duels against random players, and more.

You earn fifteen points each time that you kick it into the goal, except when you kick it into one of the special zones. That roaming 25-point circle will earn you 25, of course.

You’ll get 75 points when you kick it into the lower-side corner, and 90 points when you kick it into the upper side corners of each goal. The top portion of the middle of the goal is worth 40 points. That’s how you beat players in duels with less kicks.

After you kick the ball, you can change its trajectory by swiping it. You can swipe it multiple times to cause it to turn even more sharply.

Alternatively, you can swipe it in a different direction in order to change its trajectory yet again. Sometimes, an S-shaped trajectory can completely ruin the opposing keeper’s attempt to block you.

Use the practice mode to mess with your shot style and figure out how best to defeat defenders, goalies, and get trick shots for tons of points. As you build your skill, take your trick shots to the duels and to the vs competition with friends.

You can get card packs in this game, and then you can use the cards to upgrade your team or to get new players. When you’re kicking against other players, you’ll switch off between team members automatically.

So while each card upgrade won’t affect all of your kicks, they WILL affect some of your kicks. Gradually, you can upgrade your whole team and then boost your efforts against other teams.

Bonus balls include the Lucky Charm, the Sniper, the Gambler, the Student, the Finisher, and the Wallbreaker. You start off with a bunch of free ones; don’t blow them all right away through.

If you blow them all early in the game, the easiest way to get more is to delete and reinstall the game. If you’re already a number of gems deep, you can still do this anyways; send a help ticket, as there is surprisingly no Restore Purchases button.
