Your goal is to sneak around the level, collect the necessary items, distract Granny and Grandpa with the strategic use of noise, and escape from the house however you can.

Read on for some tips and tricks for Granny Chapter Two!

The first thing that should be done is to play the game in Practice Mode right off the bat. Granny and Grandpa’s house is a gigantic, five-story mansion, meaning it’s tough to memorize where everything is, so spend a lot of time in Practice Mode exploring the house.

Go from room to room, and take notes of all of the details that you find, such as where closets and beds are, or if there are hiding spots or escape hatches or windows that you can leave from. You can even draw out the map by hand if you’re good at that.

Once you get started facing off against the real Granny and Grandpa, do what you did in the original Granny to avoid getting her attention – don’t make loud noises. For Grandpa, though, he’s hard of hearing, so you have a much larger margin of error for avoiding him.

That means, though, that when you want to use sound strategically to distract the two of them, that you’re going to need to try a lot harder and make a much louder noise to distract Grandpa. And you’re going to need to get him and Granny into the same room with noise distractions at various times.

Items are located randomly, so items won’t usually pop up in the same place twice in a row, but items come from common spawn points where AN item usually pops up. Locate all of the spawn points so that you can know where to look for items as you make your way through the house.

Be sure to know the locations of soft surfaces, such as beds. Use rooms with soft surfaces as item stash rooms. Since you can’t carry everything all at the same time, you’ll want a place to put what you can’t carry.

The reason that the master bedroom and other bedrooms are good for this is that you can put the items down on the bed without making a whole lot of noise, so that you don’t have to worry about distracting Granny. Dropping an item on the floor makes a lot of noise – good for intentionally distracting Granny and Grandpa, not good for hiding.

Be sure to locate the security cameras as well. You can use the security room to look through these cameras and spot Granny and Grandpa, but without knowing the locations of the security cameras, you’re most likely going to have no idea what you’re actually looking at.
