Jackhammer Tower is a weird new game for the iOS and Android platforms by Voodoo, who is responsible for all kinds of strange idle games on the App Store and Google Play store, but this one might be the weirdest of all. Your goal is to watch jackhammers destroy the tower to earn you money, and then you can use that money to buy upgrades for the tower so that you have more, faster, and stronger jackhammers, all in the pursuit of more and more money. From the beginning, you’ll be left trying to figue out what the point of the game is, and how you can participate actively aside from buying upgrades. You can’t tap for more money at all as this isn’t a clicker game, but tap on the dollar sign in the bottom right corner of the screen and you’ll double the money for a second or two that you make. Tap it more and more to fill the double-money bar more and more.
Whenever you see the golden bonus pop up, take it unless the tower is almost destroyed, because it will turn every single block on the current tower gold. This will massively increase the amount of money that you earn for the rest of the tower, although if you only have about three rows or so left on your tower, it won’t be worth much of anything. So look for it to pop up and then tap it as quickly as you can. Or wait until the next tower if it pops up mid-destruction.
If you want to put the game into AR mode and you want to get the augmented reality working right, the key is to have good lighting in whatever room you’re in. Then move the camera around slowly so that you can find some surface area for your phone to latch onto. Once it circles a specific area with a white rectangle, then tap it and your tower will appear there. If it’s too close to be in proper focus, tap zoom out, or tap zoom in if you need it to appear closer/larger in the given area.
Every time that you tap to unlock the next tower, the design of the tower itself will change, and with it, you’ll get a higher amount of bonus money every time that you smash enough towers to level up. With each successive tower unlock, you’ll have to unlock more and more of them to get to the next tower tier, but you’ll make far more money every time.
To get a ton of offline income right away, go to the date and time settings on your phone or tablet, and set the time ahead by however long you want – a day, a month, an hour, etc. Then go back to the game and collect all of the offline income right away. Purchase all of the necessary upgrades and then do it all over again.
