Guns, Cars, and Zombies is a very good-looking post-apocalyptic driving game for the iOS and Android platforms with a name that is very self-explanatory. Your goal is to drive cars, run over zombies, and shoot them with a wide array of guns. You can earn coins and gold, play in multiple game modes, and upgrade your car to go for the highest point total and the highest zombie-kill rates that you can. There is a ton of different upgrades that you can do to your car in this game, all of which are contained in the Inventory menu since there is no dedicated “garage” menu. The wrench upgrades are the main ones, where you can upgrade both your armor and your fuel economy. These will allow you to go further before running out of gas, and of course, they will let you run down zombies and slow down less.
Coins are the primary currency in the game, and gold is the premium currency. You can earn both of them within the game itself, but you can also earn them for free by watching advertisement videos. Head to the shops for coins or gold and you’ll get options to either watch a video for 1,000 free coins, or to watch for 2 free gold. You can take these offers as often as you please.
Guns are great, but they don’t do anything unless you have ammunition. Use your coins to purchase more ammo for your guns. The main benefit of the guns is that you can kill zombies without having to run them over and slow yourself down. When you activate the gun, all of your ammo will drain away at the same time, so you have to do a complete refill after the round is over.
Rage mode is activated whenever you kill enough zombies to activate the bar, whether you shoot them or you run them down. When you activate rage mode, you’ll drive at full speed ahead and crash through anything in your path, whether it’s zombies, barricades, or cars. Just be sure to get out of the way of the cars and walls when the rage mode runs out.
Complete the quests in order to earn further rewards. You have global quests, daily quests, and even epic quests. These are one of the quickest ways to earn more rewards, including heavy amounts of gold, as well as lots of resources that you can use to upgrade your car without spending any of the main currencies.
