Heroes Charge: How to get rare (three, four and five-star) heroes

Heroes Charge is a new RPG loaded with heroes and weapons, and places for heroes to use their weapons to save the world. There is a collection element as well, meaning that there are loads of heroes in this game that you can collect, anywhere from the one-star common heroes to the five-star super rare heroes. Anything three stars and above will generally give you a huge advantage. Read on for some tips on how to find those three-star and above heroes in Heroes Charge!

Generally, the way to get these heroes is to find their soul stones. Every single character has their own soul stones, and soul stones are typically in two or three different elite locations throughout the map. Go to the heroes menu and tap on any hero, and if they have not yet been summoned, tap on their picture to see where to find the soul stones.

Evolution works to turn a common hero into a rarer hero, or at least a hero that’s as powerful as a rare one. You need soul stones to evolve a hero just as you would in order to summon them. To see their soul stones, go to the hero’s profile, and hit the plus sign next to the soul stone counter, and the popup will appear saying where to find them.

Opening the gold chest can earn you heroes of all stripes, including rare ones. You’ll get a free gold chest once every 45 hours or so, so always check back to make sure that you open the chest and reset the cooldown time. Bronze chests CAN earn you rare heroes but the chances are slim to none. They can, though, earn soul stones for rare heroes.

Many of the rarer heroes in the game have soul stones that don’t show on any elite instance loot drop lists. That means that there’s two ways to get them for now. One of them is with the two chests, and the other is in the merchant, which is unlocked later in the game and usually features one soul stone per refresh. So keep checking back and build up your gems so that you can afford them.

Each elite stage can only be played three times per day, limiting the amount of times you can play to farm for soul stones. Simply play every stage that you have available to you, three times per day, so that you can load up on all of the soulstones available from the elite stages. Add them up over time and eventually as your soul stone bars begin to max out all at once, you will end up with a flood of new heroes.
