Hexavoid – Tips, Tricks, Cheats, How to Beat, and Strategy Guide

Hexavoid is an endless spaceship-flying game for the iOS platform. Your goal in this game is to go as far as you can while avoiding various obstacles and collecting credits, which can then be used to purchase new ships. You can earn a range of power-ups in this game, as well, to enable you to go farther on a level. Read on for some tips and tricks for Hexavoid!

To know what the power-ups look like, hit the question-mark icon from the main menu before you begin the game. The “How to Play” window will pop up, and contained within will be all of the power-ups that you can earn. Each one will either give you a shield or will enable you to destroy obstacles in your path.

There are two colors of gates that you can break. Break the red ones to earn one point apiece. Yellow ones, in contrast, will earn you five points apiece. Typically you will only have one path to take, and even when the road splits into two paths, you will only have one path with a gate in it.

Each point that you earn is worth one credit. When you have 500, 1,000 or 5,000 credits (depending on the ship), you can unlock a new ship. New ships play exactly the same as the other ships, and all they will change is the look of the ship; however, the element of collection is at play here. Can you collect all of the skins?

Place your finger down at the bottom of the screen for easier control of the ship. You can place it wherever you want, but if it’s down at the bottom of the screen, you can see your ship which makes it easier to direct it, and thus easier to avoid obstacles.

If you get tired of the ads, purchase the no ads option for a small fee. This gets you permanent ad-free play. For temporary ad-free play, you can set the game in airplane mode, but the ads are not all that intrusive anyways, so there is not much of a point in it.
