High School Story (iOS/Android): How to get more experience points and books

High School Story is the story of one student’s attempt to build a brand new high school, recruit all of the different cliques, and to beat back the rivals. As you grow and add students, you’ll need more and more books so that your students can study, which can thus cause them to gain experience levels, which most importantly, earns you more coins. Experience points are needed in order to gain an experience level, which itself offers you all kinds of bonuses. Read on to find out how to get more books and experience in High School Story!

To get more books, first, maximize the amount of classrooms that you have per experience level. Then, make sure that they always have an order runnning. Collect that order as soon as it finishes, so that you can get yet another order started. Keep the books flowing this way.

To get books MUCH more quickly than this, use the time lapse cheat to set the time ahead by however much time your current orders take to complete. Then go back to the game and collect the books that came in. Set the time back to normal, and then start another order. Repeat this as often as you like in order to earn massive amounts of books.

Earn more books, AND more experience points, with the completion of quests. The faster you complete quests, the faster you earn experience points. Quests won’t earn you that many books compared to getting books via the classroom, but they do count for a semi decent number of them, enough to upgrade a few students who have not yet been upgraded.

You can speed up the quests with the time lapse cheat, as referenced above. Quests are just about the only way to gain experience points in the game. You can gain experience points by other means, such as by leveling up a specific character, but it is such a miniscule amount that it really won’t even make a difference. Use the time lapse cheats sparingly, though, or your students will get put into detention and your chances of earning rare classmates can drop.
