HonorBound has many tiers of heros, with epic and legendary heroes being the top two tiers. Your initial commander, for example, is an epic hero. Not only can you find other epic heroes, though, which are as powerful as your commanders, but legendary heroes are one tier higher, making them even more powerful. Here’s a list of where you can find them. (NOTE: This list was updated on 3/3/2014 with new locations and heroes.)

Ranger of the Deepwood: Epic archer. Found in “The Coming Darkness”. Can be evolved 3 times.
Duskweald Slayer: Epic archer. Found in “Heart of Rot” map. Can be evolved 3 times.
Freydis: Legendary archer. Found in “A Princess of Ice”. Can evolve once and becomes Freydis Garddottir.
Duskwing: Epic cleric. Found in “The Forlorn Path”. Can evolve three times, and becomes Duskwing the Verdant in final form.
Nightshade High Priest: Epic Cleric. Found in “Lost Homelands” and “The Forgotten City” and evolves up to three times.
Godsworn Shaman: Epic cleric. Found in “Icewind Grotto” or in any Winter Kingdom map. Can evolve three times.
Beorin: Epic Knight. Found in Heart of Rot. Can evolve once, and evolves into Beorin: Defender of Dusk.
Liashi Golem. Epic Knight. Found in the first Treasure Cave. Can evolve twice.
Gorg the Bold: Legendary knight. Found in “Demanding Answers”. Can evolve once.
Rimeholm Scout: Epic rogue. Found in “Icewind Grotto” or in any Winter Kingdom map. Can evolve three times.
Big Ballow: Epic rogue. Found in King Ballow’s Court or Cornered Prey. Can’t evolve.
Tundra Goblin Warlord. Epic Rogue. Found in “The Edge of Corruption”. Can evolve three times.
Marshland Shadow: Epic rogue. Found in Heart of Rot. Can evolve three times
Godsworn Leader: Epic warrior. Found in “Icewind Grotto” or in any Winter Kingdom map. Can evolve three times.
Risen Rager: Epic Warrior. Found in The Forgotten City and Lost Homelands. Evolves up to three times.
Ice Behemoth: Epic warrior. Found in “Icewind Grotto” or in any Winter Kingdom map. Can evolve once.
Runewood Forester: Epic warrior. Found in “Into the Runewood”. Can evolve three times.
Marsh Goblin Witch. Epic Wizard. Can be found in Hunting Shadows. Evolves three times.
Naema: Legendary wizard. Found in “The Bitter End”. Evolves once and becomes Naema the Destroyer.
