Puzzles will begin very easy, but then shortly into the game, they will get tougher and tougher. You’ll have to make specific moves at specific times to avoid falling into a pit, into the water, or something else. Make good use of the one-move rewind, because it’s free, and you can do it as many times as you want to without having to pay anything.

As you go through the game, you’ll unlock a bunch of new weapons. The main function of the weapons is to give you new animations to watch how the campers will be killed. Other than that, they don’t really do much for practical purposes; it’s still on you to get the campers at the right time and in the right place so that you can kill and avoid being killed.

If you get sick of the levels, you can always go to the Murder Marathon portion of the game. In the Murder Marathon, your goal is to go for as long as you can and get as many kills as you can without dying. The kills will get tougher and tougher as you get further into the endless mode, so you’ll have to strategize more, without the option of being able to play the game over and over again.

Daily Death is another unique game mode that gives you a specific level to complete every day. The levels will change depending on the day, and when you pass a specific streak of levels, you’ll be awarded a rare weapon or some other rare goody. All that you have to do is complete the levels on consecutive days, and you will earn the reward.

Complete levels to unlock new batches of levels, though. For example, complete a specific number of levels on Crystal Lake Memories, and you’ll be able to unlock the Orange is the new Dead levels. You don’t even need to beat all of the levels, you just have to make a specific number of level wins in order to unlock the next batch.
