The whole point of Big Win Basketball is to pit your cards against the cards that other players have put together to form a team. The teams reflect real basketball – that is, you have a starting center, point guard, point forward, shooting guard and shooting forward. You’ll have more player cards than this on your team, total, but these are your backups.

Before you play a game you will be asked to choose up to three Big Impact Cards. These cards have certain effects that can help you or hurt your opposing team in a game, such as increasing free throw accuracy or steal frequency. You can play without using these cards, but they will give you a better chance at winning.

Your team and your opponent’s team each have an average score, which is decided by averaging out the combined scores of all of the players on the team. If your scores are close, then the big impact cards become that much more important, but if one or the other player has a much higher team score than the other, then the big impact cards (except for the gold ones, which have huge effects) become much less important.

Oftentimes during a game, one or the other player will get injured, or after a game, a player’s contact might run out, causing a contract dispute. This will massively decrease all of a player’s stats. If you spend 100 coins you can heal a player’s injury, or if you use one contract card, you can sign a player to a new contract, causing them to play up to their full potential once again.
