The third game mode that you can play is the friends mode. Of course, you cannot play this if you don’t have any in game friends, but if you do, then you and your friends can organize a race against each other, play all at the same time, and see how can win in a race against each other. Otherwise, this one would play just like the quick game mode.
In the main screen of the game, before you even hit the play button, there are a number of other options you can choose from that lead you to different and unique features within the game. The gear button will take you to the options menu, which is more of a general menu. From there you can access a full tutorial, as well as a feature that allows you to save the info from your game so that you can transfer it over to another device.
In addition, you will be able to turn the sound for the game on and off. Back to the main menu, the next option over is the ranking button. Tap this, and you will be able to see how many ranking points you have, and how you compare to the top 50 players in the game. Tab over to the friends tab and you will be able to see how you rank as far as your friends go.

Go back to the main menu and the third button from the left will be the friends button. Once you get here, tap the envelope button to check your messages in the game, including friend invites. The next button down shows you your list of friends. The pencil button allows you to send messages, and the “plus” button allows you to add friends by username. Find usernames on the app store review page or on the ranking pages, or remember the ones that you race against.
Finally, there is the store button, which is the bottom right one on the main menu. You can buy new characters in the game, you can buy new hats for your character, you can buy magical items that fly out from behind your character leaving a trail behind, or you can buy new shoes, skateboards or roller skates for your character. None of them will make you go faster, but they are fun to have!
