Idle Drops is an idle game based off of a Pachinko-style concept for the iOS and Android platforms. Your goal is to make as much money as possible, buy all kinds of upgrades, but also to earn gems and use your boosts to gain levels and increase the speed of your money gains. Keep focused on the screen to look for elements that you should tap. 2x, 3x and 4x multipliers, when tapped, will affix themselves to a hole in the bottom of the screen, and when you drop a ball into them, the score will multiply by the given amount. Tap a box to open a surprise, which will either be free gems or free cash.
Buying upgrades is the primary way to earn more cash, but another quick way to do so is to tap to level up the ball that you drop whenever you tap on the screen. You’ll unlock this after the tutorial is done. What it does is it moves you up by one ball (from the cheapest to the next-cheapest, to the next cheapest, etc), when you level up your tap meter, which will make your taps worth FAR more than they were to begin with.
Hit the boosts menu if you have enough of an internet connection to watch video ads. Watch one ad to get Golden Taps for 30 seconds, which are worth massive amounts of cash. Watch another ad to double the amount of balls that drop per tap for 30 minutes. Then watch videos to double the score multiplier for two hours in a row.
When you unlock the story progression, you can reset for a multiplier, but be sure to go to the pattern area as well. Normally, it takes a very long time to get the pattern filled up, but if you have the patience to watch a ton of ads, watching one ad video will get you a new piece of a pattern right away.
When it comes to spending your gems, many of the upgrades are worth a lot, but some are useless. The ability to drag drops only lets you clear obstacles faster with ONE drop at a time, or drag your most valuable drops into a multiplier slot. The gravity and drop value bonuses work forever once you buy them, as does your away bonus (offline income bonus).
