Idle Evil Clicker: UPDATED Ultimate Tips and Cheats Guide

Idle Evil Clicker, formerly known as Idle Evil, is a clicker game for the iOS and Android platforms where your goal is to use your workers/demons to torture people in a very cartoonish version of hell in order to earn souls (money). The tortures are based off of the Seven Deadly Sins and other silly influences, such as Looney Tunes cartoons, and with each new torture unlocked, you can earn even more souls.

Plus, you can earn gems, which are the premium currency of the game, and other goodies such as apples that will boost your productivity and make you insanely rich. You can even open chests and complete puzzles for greater bonuses, too.

Read on for some tips, cheats, hints, strategies, and tricks for Idle Evil Clicker!

Upgrading your Torture Stations

Your main method of upgrading your workstations is, of course, by leveling them up. Each upgrade not only adds to the amount of money that you earn per collection, but increases the green level bar underneath the workstation.

Once that bar fills up, you’ll either double the speed that your demon works or you’ll double the income of the workstation. The green bar fills up at milestones such as level 25, 50, 100, and 200, and then more beyond that.

When you’re in the upgrade screen, you can either tap a station to upgrade it once, or you can hold down on the screen for rapid-fire upgrades to that specific station. The rapid upgrades are a good way to speed things along, especially when you prestige and need to get your upgrades done quickly.

Global Upgrades (The Fire Menu)

Tap on the fire in the upper right hand corner of the screen for global upgrades, such as auto-collecting income, or profit multipliers for either one workstation or for every workstation. You have four types of main upgrades here.

The first type is the souls upgrade, which has an effect such as automating collection from a station, doubling the speed of either one station or the whole board or more. You need ghosts upgrades in order to maximize your income overall.

Apple upgrades can be purchased after you prestige, and add bonuses such as income multipliers, or increasing the percent multiplier per apple that you have. Spend wisely so that you don’t lose too many apples, but so that you gain the maximum boosts from these ones.

Premium upgrades cost gems instead of souls or apples, but while they cost a LOT of gems, they’re also worth it. Any premium upgrade will last forever and will never go away.

Usually, an exclamation mark will appear next to the fire icon when an upgrade is ready, although it oftentimes doesn’t especially if you are on a high prestige level and are earning souls insanely quickly. Also, check it every time you unlock a new station, as new upgrades for that station will appear as well.

Prestige and Earn Apples

To prestige, first, you have to unlock a minimum of six stations. Tap on the Big Boss to summon the Man Downstairs himself. Then swipe over the stations to collect all of the apples from them. After that, you’ll start the game back over from the beginning, but with added multipliers from the apples.

You can also tap the big boss at the top of the screen to prestige or to check how many apples you would hypothetically get if you did prestige. You can check anytime, and if you don’t want to prestige, then you can wait until you would normally get more apples.

Each apple is worth an extra 2% to your income just by having it. For example, if you prestige and earn 300 apples, then you’ll have a 600% multiplier bonus, meaning you’ll earn six times the base income that you would have if you didn’t have any apples.

How To Spend Apples Wisely

Of course, you can purchase numerous upgrades with apples in the Fire Menu, but you’ll have to spend apples, so be sure that overspending won’t tank your bonuses. For example, if you have 1,200 apples, and purchase a 2% profit per apple bonus for 100 apples, you’ll drop to 1,100 apples. Your overall multiplier will change from 2400% to 4200%.

However, if you purchase the next 2% profit per bonus upgrade, which costs 1,000 apples, you’ll drop down to 100 apples only. So your multiplier will change from 4200% to a measly 600%, not only decreasing your income, but setting you back a number of prestiges.

How to make the ads go away

One of the worst things about this game is that there are a TON of ads that pop up as you’re playing the game. Literally, a video pops up about every 30 seconds to a minute or so, and after awhile, it can be annoying. Luckily, there are a number of ways to make the involuntary ads disappear.

One way is to buy any in-app purchase. Buy the cheapest possible one, which only costs $1.99 or the equivalent in your local currency if you are not from the USA, and the ads will go away forever, and you will never have to look at them again.

If you’re going to make any in-app purchase, take one of the special offers to buy a whole bunch of goodies for cheap. If there are no offers, you can wait and one will show up eventually. Usually, their benefits far outweigh what they cost, and are worth more than they say they are.

The free way to make them go away is to load the game, then flip your phone into airplane mode, then go back to the game immediately. If you do this, then the ad videos will quit popping up, because there is no server to load them from.

However, if you do this, you have to turn off airplane mode and play a little bit before you close out of the game, so that the data can save on the central server and load again on then ext startup. If you don’t do this, then you’ll end up losing the data from your last play of the game when you go to start it up again, including all upgrades, prestiges, or anything like that. So be careful with this one.

Puzzle Pieces and Rewards for Completing Puzzles

You’ll often earn puzzle pieces whenever you prestige, and for other reasons too. The primary source of puzzle pieces, of course, comes from opening chests. Chests are mainly earned by calling the Big Boss, but can also be earned by spending souls or gems.

Puzzles might seem pointless at first, but their reward is great for when you’re at an advanced level. They allow you to have more torture plots than just the initial 9, which, of course, maximizes your income. So you want to complete puzzles as soon as possible.

If you don’t care for puzzles, though, than the alternate way to get more plots is simply to build out all nine plots on your board. If you do that, then you unlock more spaces, regardless of if the puzzle has been completed yet or not.

Other Bonuses

Make sure to take all of the free spins that you can. In the Wheel of Sin, you can go and spin for goodies such as more souls (the number differs depending on your stations and their levels), a time skip, free gems, or free chests.

Connecting the game to Facebook can earn you a huge free gem bonus. You don’t even need to have any friends who are playing the game to earn the bonus. Just connect it and you will get 50 free gems.

Of course, adding friends to your various stations (if you have friends who play the game) allows you to get an extra bonus multiplier per torture plot. Tap on the demon icon with the whip to add friends from Facebook to various workstations for multipliers. Each friend is worth 1% profit.

The star menu is your daily quests menu. You have three missions to complete per day in this menu, each of which is worth a batch of free gems. Try to complete all three of them per day; they’ll refresh once per day no matter what.

The checklist button below it is the daily prizes menu. Always be sure to collect your daily rewards, even if you don’t plan to play the game actively on that particular day. Free gems, free apples, time warps, free souls, and even puzzle pieces and rare chests can be earned by doing this.
