Labyrinth of the Witch: Walkthrough, Tips, Cheats, and Strategy Guide

Labyrinth of the Witch is an old-school console-style RPG for the iOS and Android platforms that sends you on quests through various labyrinths and dungeons, fighting against enemies and looking for the escape. You also have a full city where you can resupply with items, hit the ranch to raise monsters, embark on various challenges, and more.

You can collect items, weapons, and armor as you go, use them to your best ability in the dungeons in turn-based combat, embark on expeditions for auto-treasure, and more.

In the dungeons, the first thing you can do to get an advantage is switch from walking mode to dash mode. When you dash, hold the directional arrow when you go into a narrow hallway and you’ll automatically run through the hallway regardless of what directions it takes you. In walk mode, you have to manually navigate though it.

As far as enemies go, all kinds tend to pop up, though most of them have similar attacks. Each of you trades moves after a square, so if you want to lure them to you and get an advantage, face in their general direction and start swinging at midair; after each swing, they’ll come toward you a little bit more.

Once they’re face to face with you, trade attacks with them. There isn’t much strategy to this (no hit and runs etc), which is why getting first strike is so important. Make sure to use healing potions when needed so you don’t die prematurely.

Be sure to pick up every item you find in the dungeons, even if you don’t need them at the moment. On one hand, you might need them later. On the other hand, you can sell the items for gold later on.

When you finish the dungeon and get back to the village, you likely won’t have as much gold as you need to buy the things you want, but sell all of the items that you picked up throughout the dungeon. Item-selling is worth far more gold than collecting within the stages is, so grind for items and sell them to rack up a ton of gold.

You can equip a sword, a shield, and an arrow, so you want to make sure that you have the best of each one, especially the sword and the shield. So after each level, look through your equipment and swap out as needed in order to strengthen your character. And hit the store as often as you can afford to in order to buy better swords and shields – and to a lesser extent arrows (since they are limited).

Be sure to send a character on an expedition as often as possible. An expedition will complete on its own, but it will take a. View hours to do so. So always have someone going on an expedition, so that you can come back after long periods of time and collect rewards.
