League of War: Mercenaries – Tips, Tricks, Cheats, How to Beat, and Strategy Guide

League of War: Mercenaries is a new MMO strategy game for the iOS and Android platforms, but with a battle system more reminiscent of a Clash Royale type of game. You can build banks and oil wells to collect cash and oil, join alliances to go on raids together, and battle it out against other players for loot, or in the single player mode to advance the story. Read on for some tips and tricks for League of War: Mercenaries!

To get your base done as quickly as possible, hit the ops button to go immediately to the next recommended building to build. Start from the left and work your way to the right. You’ll be able to collect rewards for doing so, which includes boosts as well as cash, oil, and gold.

If the reward is cash and oil, you can choose not to collect them right away, though. After you collect them, they can then be looted by other players if you get defeated in battle. If you haven’t collect it, it cannot be looted, so don’t collect the rewards until the moment that you need them.

In battle, generally, it’s best not to waste mana on sending out cheap troops. Start the fight sending out the most expensive troop that you can get out the door before you get attacked. Your mana will speed up later, at which point you can send all of your troops out as quickly as possible. Hit the “speed” button and hold it to make the battle go by more quickly.

Keep your units upgraded so that you don’t lose battles. You will need scrap to do the upgrades, which can be gained by scrapping your reserve units or by finding it out on the battlefield. It’s easy to get stuck in the campaign missions, so go to the multiplayer and battle for awhile in order to earn more scrap.

Send a tank or two out so that they can absorb damage while your other units sit behind the tank, doing high amounts of damage from behind cover. Don’t get stuck using only one kind of troop. Change your strategies depending on who you face, as well. Send out units that can counter specific types of attackers.
