MetalStorm: Aces is the sequel to the original arcade-style fighter pilot game by Z2. There are three types of currency in this game. Parts are the most common of the currencies is parts, which are used to upgrade various systems on your aircraft. Credits are the second most common, and are used to buy new aircraft. Insignia, which is the premium currency of the game, is used to buy the most powerful of the upgrades and of the aircraft. How do you get more of all three of them? Read on!
Getting more parts can be done by simply playing as many rounds of the game as you can. Playing brand new missions will earn you the most parts; however, playing old missions will earn you some parts as well, especially if you increase your star rating by playing a mission. The more you play, the more parts you can earn.
Play in the survival mode and vs mode as often as possible, because oftentimes, these can be the best ways to earn more parts. In versus, you will get nothing if you lose, but when you win, you’ll get parts, and your parts score will increase depending on how many kills you have. In survival mode, the more waves that you make it through, the more parts that you will get.
For more credits, play a new round or play a round that you have already beaten, but haven’t earned all three possible stars on yet, and increase your star score. These will earn you more credits, as will increasing your experience level (which can be done by playing old rounds, too, even if you have the maximum number of stars on them).
To get free Insignia, go to the plus sign next to the insignia counter (the insignia store) and you’ll be prompted to either watch videos or complete offers. The offers are almost entirely free, with no personally identifiable information required of you, and will give you insignia upon completion. Watching videos is self explanatory – simply watch, and you’ll earn when the video finishes.
