Monkey Boots – Tips and Tricks Guide: Hints, Cheats and Strategies

Monkey Boots is a new endless running game for the iOS and Android platforms. The graphics are a cross between 16-bit styles and Flappy Bird, but the gameplay is something all its own. You control the monkey, and you can either jump up in the air or move to the left, and your goal is to rack up as many points as possible while jumping on or avoiding the various elephants that are constantly running up on you. Read on for some tips and tricks for Monkey Boots!

You can only move to the left when you jump. You move automatically back to the right when you are on the ground; however, if you move to the left, then let go of the left button before you hit the ground, then jump immediately back into the air again, you will end up jumping to the right.

The longer that you hold the screen when you jump, the higher you will jump and the slower you will fall. However, if you accidentally let off of the screen too early, don’t hit the screen again or you will slam back down to the ground. Time your jumps right in the first place so that you can avoid having this happen. Instead, use the slams strategically to jump on elephants.

Try to avoid the small elephants. They are worth only five points per jump and oftentimes they are the fastest, and they come in packs. Plus, they are the smallest target. Jump over them, instead aiming for the medium sized elephants and the big wooly mammoths.

Move to the left whenever you jump, and let yourself go back to the right whenever you stomp or whenever you are on the ground. This is the easiest way to keep elephants from running up on you.

You get one star for 100 points, two stars for 250 points and three stars for 500 points. However, the run never gets any harder, so figure out your rhythm and once you do, you will have no problem getting thousands of points in this game.
