Every once in awhile you can collect a prize box full of coins. It comes by every five minutes or so, and then as you gain levels it takes slightly longer for it to be ready to open. If you want to open it right away and skip all of that time, cheat and set the time ahead on your iPhone or iPad and then go back to the game and open the box. You can do this cheat as many times as you want to.
There are quite a few achievements that can earn you a lot of coins. Tap on the ribbon icon to go to the list of achievements and you will be able to collect coins for any one of the completed ones, or for the incomplete ones you can see what you need to do in order to complete them.
If you need to figure out what to do next and Emma doesn’t have a thought bubble popping up next to her head (the usual indicator of what she wants next), go to the house icon to see which of her bars need to be filled. They will be green when filled and pink when empty. Give her a bath, put her to bed, feed her some food, dress her, or play games with her. Or after level seven, you can take her to the doctor if she is sick.
Another way to get free coins is to hit the “free coins” button in the in app purchase stores. You’ll be able to watch preview videos for new apps and other stuff, and for each video you watch you will earn 50 free coins. They run out eventually but then they come back later.
You can play all sorts of mini games in the front yard. The longer you go at any of these games, the more experience and coins you earn so go as long as you can, and level up as high as you can in each game, for the best bonuses.
