My Horse Prince is a new iOS and Android game where you, as a regular girl on a farm, care for a horse, but the horse has the face of a man, who the girl develops a crush on. You can become the owner of the horse and increase both its energy and its health through regular conversation and training. Read on for some tips and tricks for My Horse Prince!

Your main goal in the game is to advance the story and to move onto the next episode. To move forward to the next one, you have to fill up your heart meter completely, and to fill up your heart meter, you have to pick up the assortment of items that pop up around the screen, such as carrots in episode 1, and treadmills in episode 2. Each one will either earn you five or ten points, depending on your luck.

Whenever you use up all of your energy, you have two ways of getting it back. One is by waiting; energy restores automatically when the game is active, but does not restore when the game is inactive. You’ll get about one energy point restored every 12 seconds, or five energy per minute, so if you wait for about 20 minutes with the screen active, all of your energy will be restored. Turn off your auto-sleep to make it easier to do this while you’re not paying attention to the phone.

Another way to get energy back is to talk to the horse. You get three talks max, and one talk every 30 minutes. Talk to the horse and he will ask you a question. You can choose one of three responses; an excellent response will restore 30 energy to the horse, a good response will restore 15 energy, while a bad response will drain 15 energy. Sometimes the responses are random, but sometimes, the bad response is the obvious one (the most negative one). Also avoid responses that, by whatever weird logic exists in this game, could make the horse jealous.

Or you can set the date and time ahead on your phone by 1 1/2 hours to get all three of your talks restored for free. Just do that and then go back to the game and all of the talks will be restored. If you have less than 15 energy and you make a bad talk decision, your energy will simply drain down to zero.

Oddly enough, if you drain all of your energy, you will still be able to pick up items and complete actions. Just tap on them as usual. You need to be careful before risking this though as it could negatively affect the relationship between your character and the horse.
