PewDiePie’s Pixelings is a new RPG for the iOS and Android platforms starring everyone’s favorite Youtuber, Pewds himself. Your goal is to make it through all kinds of story modes and arena battles; to do this, though you’re going to need a lot of energy, which everything costs in this game.

You can earn coins, which are the primary currency of the game, and the most common one, and Bux, which are the premium currency of the game, and look like cash. Bux can buy you more coins, premium goodies in the store, and all sorts of other goodies.

One of the biggest ways to earn free Bux is to make sure that your account is linked. If you link your account in Facebook, or on Game Center if you are playing the game on an Apple device, you can earn 150 Bux in one shot. You can always decide to unlink it later without losing your gems.

Another way to get free Bux is to collect chests and then open the rarest ones. Some chests will give you free Bux, while others will not; the ones that are the most likely to contain rare goodies are the ones that take the longest to open.

Every 8 hours or so, you will gain the ability to watch an ad in exchange for 4 hours off of your chest time. Be sure that you use this on any one of your chests as soon as you get it so that you can reset the cooldown time instantly.

Another great way to get free Bux is to go to the star counter at the lower left corner of the story mode levels. When you earn 25 stars, you get 50 free Bux. When you earn 50 stars, you get 75 free Bux. When you earn 75 stars, you get 100 free bux.

Once you unlock the higher difficulty versions of the levels, too, they get their own star counters as well. So as you rack up stars, go ahead and do the same thing on these tougher levels. Collect stars and then claim your Bux rewards.

You can go to the store and find an offer wall with Bux by tapping on the button that says “Free Bux”. When you’re there, start looking through the offers and figuring out what you want to do, then do any offer that you want to.

One way to get free energy is to gain a player level. Not only will you get a free complete energy refill, but you will also get one more maximum energy, increasing the amount that you can hold at a time by one.

Of course, it’s hard to gain a player level when you have no energy left, but the best way to do so is to fight in the arena. Arena fights cost zero energy, so you can do them an unlimited amount of times without having to worry about spending energy. Just keep getting player experience by winning arena battles.

If you run out of energy, you’ll be able to get a full refill by watching an ad. The ad is only available to watch once every eight hours or so, but know when it comes available so that you know you have a backup full load of energy as soon as the cool-down timer runs out.

Free energy is often found in chests, even more often than free Bux are. Build up a full load of chests and set push notifications so that you can open them right away when they are ready to open. Then set the next chest’s opening sequence right away.
