Pixel Drifters – Tips and Tricks Guide: Hints, Cheats, and Strategies

Pixel Drifters is a new endless driving game for the iOS and Android. Your goal in this game is to drift and survive for as long as possible, earn coins, scare birds, and complete all kinds of other goals and quests. You can earn coins, collect new cars, and more. Read on for some tips and tricks for Pixel Drifters!

Each small coin that you collect in this game is worth one coin; each large coin, however, is worth ten coins. When you see the 1x, 2x, etc. appear, that refers to how many points you get from each coin. The coin value stays the same no matter how many in a row you collect. So if all that you want is to earn the most coins possible, look for the big ones.

Once you get 1,000 coins, you will be able to get a new car. Each car performs different than others. Some cars will be smaller, faster, and handle better, while others will be larger and will have a wider turning circle, but their increased size makes it easier to collect lots of coins in a small area. They make it tougher to survive once you get inside of a gate, though.

If you want to collect a giant coin bonus, collect a large line of coins; even though the multipliers do not apply to the coins, you’ll get an instant 200 coin bonus once you hit 25x on the multiplier scale. Other, smaller bonuses can be had for 10x, 15x, etc, which, while they don’t seem like much at the time, add up rapidly if you are good at picking up lines of coins.

Plus, after random rounds, you can earn 200 coins for free by watching an ad video, or you can get a free batch of coins at timed intervals. Collect an entire circle of coins unbroken, also, and you’ll earn 100 coin bonuses. It has to be one of the standard-sized circles of coins, and the vehicle has to stay going quickly enough through a drift so that you can keep the multiplier bonus going.

Holding down on the screen to drift will only get you so far, especially when you are driving a smaller vehicle that turns more tightly, because it can get steeper drift angles, which can rapidly throw you into an oversteer situation until you hit a wall. Tap on the steer side instead, tapping faster and for longer periods of time if you need to turn tighter, and slower and for shorter periods of time if you need to make a looser turn to follow a coin trail.
